How long has it been since you had a chat with God? I mean a real conversation? Maybe it was this morning for you. I'm finding that getting distracted is easier than ever.

Let me show you something I thought of recently, not because I see or think that other people around me are getting it wrong, but because it was a challenge issued to be by the Father.

I don't get too busy that I forget to do my job. Know why? Because people are counting on me to be there, and they are counting on me to get things done. Hundreds of people need me to go to work. I even go because I get rewarded to do it every 1st and 15th of the month. I also get rewarded by the satisfaction it gives me when I see people affected for the better because of the work I do.

Am I ringing your doorbell yet?

Help me not neglect my time with the Father. Next time you see me, ask me if I've prayed for you recently.

Music Industry

I recently read an article that said the music industry was in trouble. What?! Oh no! You mean they won't all make tons and tons of money now?! I'm sorry (not really), but when you see how extravagant the people in the industry live and all the trouble they get into, they hardly seem like they are in any kind of financial trouble. Am I alone in this thinking? Let's put an end to the nonsense. I mean, they don't even have to have talent to make gobs of money. Just look at Britney Spears. No talent what so ever except that someone showed her how to shake her rear end and now all the idiot guys go crazy for her. Wait, maybe I should have said she went crazy. They's all crazy!

Anyhoo, I hardly beleive they are in trouble. My thoughts: If you get to do what you love and are passionate about for your job, and get paid a decent wage, you don't have to work another day in your life.
